Hi, I'm Lara
I have now worked in professional services for longer than I care to remember. Prior to setting up Consortium I worked for a regional law firm as a conveyancer before moving into marketing and BD. My passions are business development and strategy, I love the tangible results you can get from BD but I also love a plan and don't think we should do any marketing without one.
I am generally really proud of most of our work, being creative in a traditionally non creative and risk adverse industry is tough but the team and I are tenacious and get it done. The biggest difference I make to my clients is taking away the worry of marketing. They can let go of it in the knowledge that the team and I will manage it all for them.
Lara is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Chartered Marketer.
What I love about my role:
Marketing professional service firms is not easy and I think that's the main reason I love it, as I do like a challenge. I also love people and finding out what makes them, them. In professional services we are marketing, people so you have to know the people really well.
I love my role as the MD at Consortium. I am fortunate enough to have a fabulous team and together we work with fantastic clients and do great things. The two values that align most for me when thinking about the agency's core values are fun and integrity. I like to have fun in my work and I believe that integrity and honesty is at the heart of all that we do.
